Beautiful leftover napkins are everywhere in the house. I like to use decoupage technique to make things more personalized around me. This time I tried to decorate the Easter eggs with some napkins.
Things you will need:
Styrofoam eggs
Patterned paper napkins
Scissors
Acrylic paint (optional)
PVA craft glue or Mod Podge
Craft brushes (small and medium)
Brush container or bowl for glue
Instructions:
If using PVA glue, squirt a small amount in a plastic container or bowl. Add about a tablespoon of water and mix to thin slightly.
Optional: Cover entire egg with acrylic paint or glue. Let it dry.
Trim loosely around the designs on the napkin using scissors. Separate printed top layer and discard lower sheets.
Coat a small part of the egg with a very thin layer of glue using a small brush. Apply a cutout design to egg and smooth with brush. Let it dry. Repeat adding designs as desired.
Apply glue with a medium brush to the entire egg to make it shiny and the design durable. Let dry.
