Low Carb Cheese Scones (gluten free)
I love these scones, they are so quick and easy to make. I can also take them to work as an afternoon snack.
Ingredients:
For the dough:
- 100 g oat flour (optionally gluten free)
- 125 g low fat grated cheese
- 200 g low fat curd cheese
salt
- 80 g coconut oil
water if needed
For the topping:
- egg yolk
- extra cheese
- sesame seeds
- caraway or cumin seeds
Directions:
- Mix all the dough ingredients. Add a little water if needed.
- Roll out and use a round form to cut the dough. Put them on a baking sheet.
- Apply egg yolk on the top of the scones, and sprinkle with one or more of the toppings.
- Bake in preheated 180 Celsius oven for 20-30 minutes, until golden brown.
