To prevent the "Mom, where is my pencil/rubber/sharpener?", we fixed the holder of pencils and other school supplies on the wall. Maybe they won't disappear... Maybe... :)
You can easily create this simple, yet cute organizer. I used 3 tin cans, and I've dressed them in colorful patterned textiles.
The dressing up itself is not complicated, the fabric is sized so that it is slightly more than twice as long as the height of the box, and about 1.5 cm wider than the circumference. I glued the material to the box with a glue gun as you can see in the following pictures. I did not stick the whole surface, just in strips, but it fixed the fabric very well. To the bottom to be more beautiful, I inserted a small circle after sticking.
The placement on the wall was done by dyeing a 5x30 cm wood bar with acrylic paint twice, and then fixing on the wall with two screws. We also glued the boxes onto the wood bar with a gun. They will not take a lot of weight, but if you want to use it for storing heavier stuff, it's worth using nails or screws.
Overall, really not a lot of work was done for this very nice storage. We had so much pleasure, maybe we could make similar beauties for other purposes. For example storing tissues, cutlery, craft supplies, etc.
